Santa Rosa is big enough to contain very different rental markets. Downtown and Railroad Square offer walkability and the SMART line; the east side holds established neighborhoods like Bennett Valley, Rincon Valley, and the streets around Montgomery Village; Roseland and the southwest hold a mix of older bungalows and newer construction. Demand is anchored by the county's largest employers: county government, the medical centers, and Santa Rosa Junior College near downtown.
